MEET PUNARVI
Punarvi is a creative director and visual narrator, blending fashion, interiors, and storytelling through design. What began with fashion naturally expanded into interiors, and today, her work spans a diverse range of creative expressions — from styling and event curation to travel and culinary arts.
Her journey started at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, leading her to work under Naeem Khan and Oscar de la Renta in New York City. There, she contributed to the creation of red carpet gowns and custom pieces worn by First Lady Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, Beyoncé, and Deepika Padukone. She later launched her eponymous clothing brand, earning recognition from Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and a clientele that included Parineeti Chopra, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, and Nina Dobrev.
Her work in interiors began with designing her own home, reinforcing her belief that every space should tell a story. She now applies that philosophy to private residences and creative projects, blending vintage and modern influences with earthy textures and a sense of lived-in elegance.
Beyond fashion and interiors, Punarvi’s creative direction extends into brand storytelling and content creation. She collaborates with individuals, brands, and private clients to shape compelling narratives — whether through visual identity, styling, or experiences.
She draws inspiration from her travels, immersing herself in different cultures, craftsmanship, and ways of living. She shares these influences on Punarvi.com, a curated space where she brings together her passions — from interior design and creative direction to travel, food, and found treasures.
Punarvi currently lives in New York City with her husband, Arjit Mehta, and their fur babies, Rose and Sage.
